  • All Safety and Security Updates pertaining to the 2017 Bond were completed in 2021

    March 2021 Update

    • Security Upgrades at Multiple Campuses and Jim Knight Maintenance Facility Additions and Renovations – Access control, storefront, and hardware have been completed at Bryson ES, Eagle Mountain ES, and Willow Creek ES, Wayside MS, Chisholm Trail HS, Saginaw HS, and Watson HS. Punch list and CO items will still be ongoing

    December 2020 Update

    • Security Upgrades at Multiple campuses and Jim Knight Maintenance facility Additions and Renovations - Prep work has been completed. Hardware will be delivered during the break. Install will also begin during the break. 

    November 2020 Update

    • Security Upgrades at Multiple Campuses and Jim Knight Maintenance Facility Additions and Renovations – Work has progressed to 80% for all buildings in the project. Testing continues on access control and cameras.

    September 2020 Update

    • Security Upgrades at Multiple Campuses and Jim Knight Maintenance Facility Additions and Renovations – Work has begun on Bryson ES, Wayside MS, Hollenstein CTC, and Ed Willkie MS. Testing cable signal strength, cameras, hardware, and replacing damaged doors from previous security upgrade contractor.

    August 2020 Update

    • Security Upgrades at Multiple Campuses and Jim Knight Maintenance Facility Additions and Renovations – Contractor is ordering hardware, they are working on the permit and notice to proceed on the warehouse.

    July 2020 Update

    • Security Upgrades at Multiple Campuses and Jim Knight Maintenance Facility Additions and Renovations – GMP is under consideration tonight

    June 2020 Update

    • Construction Manager at Risk under consideration at June 2020 board meeting

    May 2020 Update

    • Maintenance Addition and Multiple Security Projects –  Procurement method is being recommended as an action item for the May 2020 meeting. Design development complete. Construction documents to be completed late May. As a reminder, this is a consolidation and streamlining of warehouse services.
