October 24, 2022 Update

• Staff is getting settled in their new spaces in the new administration office.

September 19, 2022 Update

• Work continues onpunch items in Area C –employee entrance.
• Finishing touches on furniture and installation of monitors in Area B.
• Installation of mill work and finish items in the board room area continues.

August 22, 2022 Update

• The dais area is undergoing final installation and staining of wood panels.
• Finish items and punch items are progressing in Area C.
• Finishing touches on the reception desk continues along with furniture delivery and install in Area B training room.
• Work continues in the new offices.

July 25, 2022 Update 

• Admin landscaping continues to progress.
• Furniture has been installed in Area C  and punch items are still progressing.
• Bistro equipment continues to be  installed. Lighting and painting  continue in Area A – Board Room.
• EMHS-three months progress on the eastern  portion of the property focusing on the stadium  complex.
• Elementary 18 - Building pad preparation has begun. Dirt work is in progress

June 20, 2022 Update

• Millwork continues in Area B on the main and upper level.
• Ceiling and sheetrock continue in board room.
• Carpet and lighting continue in Area B on the main and upper level.
• Bistro equipment continues to be installed, and punch items in Area A continue.
• Building pad preparation continues along with grade cuts.
• Turf projects are on schedule at Chisholm Trail HS and Saginaw HS. They are due for completion in July.

May 2022 Update

• Retaining wall and planting
• Lighting and ceiling in Area B

April 2022 Update

• Progress on the exterior finishes continue on schedule.
• Exterior finishes continue and decking has begun on the balcony.
• Millwork, lighting, and stairway handrails are in progress.
• Ceiling finishes continue to progress in all areas of the building.

March 2022 Update

• New Administration building exterior wall panels installation is in progress.
• Installation of  ceiling grids in  all sections of  the building is in progress.
• Bistro equipment installation is in  progress. Technology cable wire is being  pulled throughout the building.
• Rock wall work is nearing completion
• Chisholm Trail HS baseball retaining wall repair is in progress.
• Eagle Mountain High School:
• Core Construction has mobilized on the site.
• Construction entrances have been installed.
• Fencing has been installed for erosion control.
• Grading permit is in progress with the City of Fort Worth.

February 2022 Update

• Final landscape grade is in progress around the west and south sides of the building.
• Metal roof is near completion in Areas A, B, and C.
• Glass framing is being installed in Area C.
• Construction of the back walkway is in progress. Mechanical duct work is being installed in Area C.
• New fencing is complete around well fixtures at Eagle Mountain ES and Elkins ES.

January 2022 Update

• The deck is installed, foundation poured, and iron work for roof is ongoing in Area A.
• Glass frames and glass are being installed in the Absher area. Rock and sheetrock continue on the back of the building.
• Board room dais structure has been poured. Framing and sheetrock continue in the Ramsey area.

December 2021 Update

• The deck is installed, foundation poured, and iron work for roof is ongoing in Area A.

• Exterior sheathing, framing, roof installation, and fire sprinkler installation continues in Area B.

November 2021 Update

• In Area B, the second-floor deck is being completed. The stairs have been installed to the second floor, and the iron work continues in this area.

• In Area C, the exterior sheathing, rock work, interior wall framing, and rough-in electrical continues.

October 2021 Update

• Iron work continues. Exterior and interior framing in Area C is progressing. Mock up is 60% complete.
• Work continues on the installation of the pipe for the fire system, roof framing, and concrete blocks on the lower level.

September 2021 Update

• The steel structure installation over the Finance, Superintendent, and Operations suites is being installed.

August 2021 Update

• Concrete Masonry Unit walls continue to be built in lower level
• Exterior walls and grade beam construction continues on the north side of the building

July 2021 Update

• The CMU block is being utilized to form up the walls on the lower level. Rebar is in place to pour the main entrance to the building. 

June 2021 Update

• The northern parking lot pour has been completed
• Site work delayed due to rain
• Eastern walls in the business area are being formed for future concrete pour

April 2021 Update

• Piers are in the process of being drilled. They are filled with rebar and concrete, and 180 of the 300-plus piers have been completed.

March 2021 Update

• The parking lot is being excavated and soil relocated on site.

• The building site is being excavated and prepped for piers.

February 2021 Update

• Construction trailer has been set in place with electricity and data. The security, silt, and tree fencing are complete.

December 2020 Update

• Naming the general contractor is an action item for Board consideration at the December meeting.  

November 2020 Update

• Competitive sealed proposal has been released for bidding. Project will come to the Board for consideration in December for the naming of the general contractor. CSP is out for bid. A pre-construction meeting was held last week to answer questions about the project.
