• District New Construction Progress

    In a presentation to the Board of Education on June 15, 2020, Chief Operations Officer Clete Welch shared updates about the following projects:

    Copper Creek Elementary

    • The front entrance is nearing completion
    • The front building signage has been installed
    • Hat channel is being installed to recieve acoustical panel
    • Concrete is being prepped for flooring in the main lobby
    • Classrooms are ready to receive furniture

    Boswell High School

    • Utilies are being completed
    • The entrance is being expanded
    • Old baseball fence has been removed
    • Masonry for the ag science building is in progress
    • Framing and ductwork is in progress
    • Turf building rennovation is in progress
    • Plumbing lines have been installed
    • Demolition is in progress at the stadium
    • New electrical building and pathway complete
    • The parking lot, stormwater and asphalt removal is in place

    Turf Projects

    • projects in progress at Creekview MS, Highland MS, Prairie Vista MS, Willkie MS, CTHS, and SHS

    Lake Country ES

    • Propery has been mowed
    • plat is progressing through city planning

    Other Projects Progress

    • Security upgrades - Construction Manager at Risk under consideration tonight
    • Network Operations Center 0 Completion date August 2020
    • Tennis Court Resurfacing - Saginaw HS, Prairie Vista MS, Ed WIllkie MS, purchase order has been created and coordinating schedule with Hellas Construction
    • Tennis Wind Slats - Waiting for delivery at Saginaw HS, Prairie Vista MS, Ed Willkie MS, and CTHS
    • Central Office - Site visit  to pin the building corners down
    • Eagle Mountain HS - Site visit with the architect and civil engineer
    • Track Resurfacing - All work complete at BHS, CTHS, SHS
    • Flooring Projects - Carpet and VCT complete at Chisholm Ride ES, Comanche Spring ES, Greenfield ES, and SHS; VCT and carpet complete at Prairie Vista MS; VCT replacement begins at Dozier ES
