The district’s fourth comprehensive high school has been named Eagle Mountain High School, and the District will begin the planning and design process in 2019.

March 25, 2024 Update

• Softball field turf logo has been installed.
• Track asphalt and paving has been installed.
• Indoor practice turf installation is complete.
• Auditorium wood veneer panels is ongoing.

February 26, 2024 Update

• Stadium visitor’s side concourse paving installation. Storage building masonry ongoing.
• Fieldhouse weight room overhead ductwork and framing ongoing.
• Indoor practice facility turf field grading and poly liner installation in progress.
• Tennis court entrance paving formed in preparation to pour.
• Dry creek stone paver installation at pedestrian bridge.
• Gymnastics gym structure paint complete.

January 22, 2024 Update

• Patio poured and exterior storefront installed at the main entry. Metal panels and lighting install is in progress under the bridge. Interior stone at large lecture hall is complete. 
• Lower ceiling in library has been framed and lighting installation is in progress.
• Library casework installation has started on main level.
• Cloud installation is complete. Auditorium finishes are ongoing.
• Installation of lockers in gymnasium continues. 

December 11, 2023 Update

• Glazing, fascia metal, stone, and brick veneer has been installed in the auditorium entrance.
• Auditorium cloud ceiling is installed and scaffolding is being dismantled.
• Large lecture hall interior stone veneer is in progress.
• Skybridge sheathed in preparation for soffit panels.

November 17, 2023 Update

• The upper level classroom windows are complete. Ceiling grid in science labs are ongoing. Science casework is being installed, as well as light fixtures.
• Science lab casework install is ongoing on all three levels in the academic building.
• Auditorium cloud ceiling installation is progressing.
• Installation on grandstand bleachers is ongoing. Metal panel cladding is 90% complete. Pressboxglazing is 50% complete. Tennis courts fencing is complete. Stone masonry veneer on the retaining walls is ongoing.

October 23, 2023 Update

• Upper level windows in progress

September 25, 2023 Update

• Entrance to the auditorium vestibule is receiving spray foam insulation. Duct work and electrical are being installed in ceiling.
• Interior stone and wall tile installation is complete at the Bistro. Quarry tile flooring is also complete and covered for protection.
• Window frames have been installed at the bridge and glass is being installed. 
• Wall tile at the main kitchen is complete. Duct work and overhead electrical are being installed.

August 28, 2023 Update

• Masonry and glass installation continue at the front of the main building. 
• Work continues on the playing surface, restrooms, concession stands, and press box of the football field.
• Work continues on the water line and preparation for the temporary asphalt road.

July 24, 2023 Update

• Masons continue to lay brick on the front side and glass installation continues on the back side of the academic building.
• Structural work continues on the press box and field house. Light poles have been installed. Work on the home and visitor side concession stand and restrooms CMU continues.
• The pours for the tennis court slabs have begun. Minor competition field base is being leveled so that the e-layer can be poured.

June 12, 2023 Update

• Exterior work continues on the southern portion of the main academic wing with installation of siding. CMU block installation continues on the western side next to the lecture hall.
• The connector bridge floor has been poured, connecting academic area to the cafeteria, PAC, and athletics area.
• Framing and rough-in plumbing are progressing in the kitchen and cafeteria.
• Scaffolding in the PAC interior and fly loft is being prepared to begin work on the above ceiling.

May 22, 2023 Update

• Work continues on the main academic building.
• The connecting bridge from the academics to the cafeteria area continues with structural steel installation.
• Structural work continues on the home and visitor bleachers and press box. CMU block is being installed in the fieldhouse and is finishing in the multi-purpose center. 
• Structural columns and home bleacher concrete continues in the competition gym.

April 24, 2023 Update

• Main entrance and front of the academic building are progressing with the installation of glass. The roof installation is still in progress.
• Work on the main gym continues. Installation of the frames for the windows has been installed. ICF pours will continue to complete the gym wall structure. the clay layer in the pond has been completed. 
• Work continues on the stadium and field house. Slabs have been poured on the visitors' side along with laying CMU block for storage and restrooms. 
• Hellas has mobilized to begin prepping the playing surfaces. Retaining walls are being poured in the tennis area. Retaining wall onthe auxiliary field has been completed. 

March 27, 2023 Update

• Retaining walls continue to progress in multiple areas around the site.
• Work is progressing on the kitchen and cafeteria areas.
• Work continues on the exterior of the main academic building.
• Interior metal studs continue to be installed along with rough-in mechanical and roofing on the main academic building.
• Vertical work begins in the main gym area.
• Concrete beams continue to be poured to support the seating for the home and visitor stands.
• The roof has been completed in the multi-purpose building. CMU block has begun on the walls.

February 27, 2023 Update

• Metal studs, rough-in electrical, and duct work are progressing in the lower and main levels.
• CMU block is in progress on the cafeteria.
• Progress continues on the storm shelter and gymnasium areas.
• Retaining walls to the eastern entrance to the visitor parking are near completion.

January 23, 2023 Update

• Iron work continues in the library area next to the courtyard. The library will have an abundance of natural light highlighted by the courtyard.
• Exterior framing of the administration area has been completed. “V” shaped columns mark the main level student entry.
• Steel columns and beams continue to be installed at the majority of the main academic wing of the building. Workers can be seen in the large lecture hall.
• CMU block continues to be installed at the auditorium. Notches in the block can be seen in preparation to receive structural steel beams. 
• Formation of the press box has taken place as the main structural columns have been erected. Steel will continue as the concrete foundation finishes. Drilling of the piers for the athletic lights is underway. 

December 12, 2022 Update

• Progress on the Performing Arts Center CMU block continues. Main academic area steel structure continues to expand to the west.
• Stadium visitor’s side grade beams have been completed. Home side is in progress with grade beams for the press box and stands. Baseball/softball complex final grading continues.
• Walls and sheet rock have started in the administration office area. 

November 14, 2022 Update

• Main academic area steel is in progress. 
• Paving continues on the west entrance that connects to the south entrance is in progress.
• Work continues on the home side of the stadium. Grade beam structure is ready for pour.

October 24, 2022 Update

• Work continues on the main academic building and fine arts area.
• Drilling of GEO wells continues. Work continues on ICF walls and slab pours.
• Stadium work is progressing on the home, visitor, and field house.
• Slab pours for the parking area around the field house is ongoing.

September 19, 2022 Update

• Work continues on the main building.
• Geo well drilling continues on the north side of the property. The first load of steel has arrived on site.
• Pier work continues on visitor’s side of the stadium. Finish grade work continues on home side.
• CMU block and ICF work progresses in the choir, band hall, and food labs. Slab pour finish work is in progress in the gymnastics area.

August 22, 2022 Update

Work continues on grade beams and slab prep in all areas of the main building. The slab is poured in a portion of fine arts. Laying of CMU blocks has begun.

May 2022 Update

Building pad for the cafeteria, fine arts, and gymnasiums is complete. Pier construction is ongoing.

April 2022 Update

Excavation work has begun in all areas of the site. Building pad preparation and moisture conditioning have started in the gymnasium area.

March 2021 Update

• VLK Architects presented to the board at the March 29 meeting. There are 10 steps that need to be completed before construction can begin. Below is a list with approximate date of completion:

• Continue to have meetings with VLK. A virtual meeting was conducted with current high school and middle school students to gather information on things they liked in their schools, how they preferred to learn, and what would help them learn better in the future.
