    ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÉç is committed to sound fiscal management and financial transparency. In keeping with the goals and mission adopted by the Board of Education, the annual budget focuses on the core mission of the District: Fostering a culture of excellence that instills a passion for a lifetime of continuous achievement in every student. The allocation of resources is designed to ensure ever higher student achievement and to meet the challenges of student enrollment growth and sustain a safe and secure environment for all students.

    To help ensure financial transparency, the district provides access to the following documents: 

    The district has earned Superior Achievement on the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas or FIRST Report.

    EMSÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÉç Recognized For More Than a Decade of Financial Transparency. For 12 consecutive years, the ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÉç Purchasing Department has been recognized for financial transparency with the TASBO Award of Merit. EMS ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÉç was honored with Best in Class for three categories, as well as an A+ grade for Purchasing Operations. This honor awarded by the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO), is given to Texas school districts and education service centers that have demonstrated a commitment to professional standards in the acquisition of goods and services.  Awarded candidates are judged on the department’s organization, policies and procedures, contract operations, staff training and certification, use of technology, communication, and management of co-operative programs, and more. The EMS ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÉç Purchasing Department will be recognized with the award on March 2, 2022, during the TASBO Annual Conference in Grapevine.
