  • The University Interscholastic League (U.I.L.) is the governing body for public schools' extracurricular activities.

    2024-2025 U. I. L. – ELIGIBILITY DATES

    Aug. 12 - School begins – 7th – 8th – 9th passed and not placed 10th – 5 Credits, 11th – 10 Credits, 12th – 15 Credits or 5 Credits (State High School Graduation Credits) earned in the last 12 months.

    Aug. 30 - Deficiencies

    Sept. 20 - End of 1st Six Weeks – Check Grades

    Sept. 27 - Six (6) week failures become ineligible – current ineligibles become eligible at the end of the day

    Oct. 11 - Three (3) week grade check for current ineligibles

    Oct. 18 - Reinstate current ineligibles if passing at three (3) week grade check at end of school day

    Nov. 1 - End of 2nd Six Weeks – Check Grades

    Nov. 8 - Six (6) week failures become ineligible – current ineligibles become eligible at the end of the day

    Nov. 22 - 29 ALL STUDENTS ELIGIBLE AT END OF SCHOOL DAY (This is due to the 5 consecutive school holiday rule.)

    Dec. 2 - Student ineligible status from 3rd six weeks starts at the beginning of the school day

    Dec. 2 - Three (3) week grade check for current ineligibles

    Dec. 6 - Reinstate current ineligibles if passing at three (3) week grade check at end of school day

    Dec. 20 - End of 3rd Six Weeks – Check Grades

    Dec. 20 – Jan 6 ALL STUDENTS ELIGIBLE AT END OF SCHOOL DAY (This is due to the 5 consecutive school holiday rule.)

    Jan. 7 - Start of Fourth (4) six Weeks, first day of grace period…

    Jan. 14 - Six (6) week failures become ineligible – current ineligibles become eligible at end of school day

    Jan. 24 - Three (3) week grade check for current ineligibles

    Jan. 31 - Reinstate current ineligibles if passing at three (3) week grade check at end of school day

    Feb. 14 - End of 4th Six weeks – Check Grades

    Feb. 21 - Six (6) week failures become ineligible – current ineligibles become eligible at end of school day.

    Mar. 7 - Three (3) week grade check for current ineligibles

    Mar. 14 - 21 ALL STUDENTS ELIGIBLE AT END OF SCHOOL DAY (This is due to the 5 consecutive school holiday rule.)

    Mar. 24 - Students ineligible status from 4th Six weeks begins at the beginning of the day

    Mar. 28 - Reinstate current ineligibilities if passing at three (3) week grade check at end of school day

    Apr. 11 - End of 5th Six Weeks – Check Grades

    Apr. 18 - Six (6) week failures become ineligible – current ineligibles become eligible at end of school day.

    May 2 - Three (3) week grade check for current ineligibles

    May 9 - Reinstate current ineligibles if passing at three (3) week grade check at end of school day

    May 23 - ALL STUDENTS ELIGIBLE AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL DAY
