    Overview
    The mission of Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District is to foster a culture of excellence that instills a passion for a lifetime of continuous achievement in every student.
      
    The Grading and Reporting Handbook was developed by a team of district staff with the purpose of establishing guidelines to provide support for student learning through research-based instructional strategies. The handbook is designed to ensure coherent and consistent district-wide regulations.  EIA(LOCAL) requires the superintendent to “ensure that each campus or instructional level develops guidelines for teachers to follow in determining grades for students.” The grading and reporting handbook includes information such as grading guidelines, homework, report cards and progress reports, as well as assessments.
