  • The Gold Standard is a great opportunity for 9th and 10th-grade students to maintain academic standards, participate in community service, grow leadership skills, and develop into good citizens.
      
    Freshmen are welcome to an invitation to join. You must have ended your 8th-grade year with an 85 or higher in all classes. I need you to bring me a copy of your final report card from 8th grade and proof of your 15 hours of community service. Hours must have been from the past 9 months.  If you are not sure what counts as volunteer hours, please come read over the Community Service Guidelines.  There is more specific information in the GS By Laws. 
     
    Prior induction into NJHS is not required to join Gold Standard. The Gold Standard will help students prepare for NHS, and develop into great representatives of CTHS.
