    Parents of the Class of 2024,
     
    Since 1984, Boswell High School senior parents have provided the graduating class with a fun-filled, memorable, and safe alternative celebration after their graduation ceremony! It is a drug, alcohol and tobacco free all-night event that is well supervised with proper security. The students, along with chaperones, meet at Boswell late in the evening and travel on district buses to the venue, then back to school early in the morning.
     
    As a lot of you know, towards the end of our students' 8th grade year, parents of the class of 2024 worked to organize a Facebook group and move forward as a whole to start preparing for their senior year. Boswell Senior Celebration Class of 2024 was established and is a registered 501c3 organization that was established in April 2020 to get a jump start on raising funds for this event. On April 30th, there was a meeting held via Facebook/Zoom, where officers were voted in. To get a head-start on fundraising, we ended the school year with our “High School Bound” yard sign fundraiser and ended up raising $844.52. We also encouraged parents to sign-up for Kroger give back and Amazon’s give back program. Through those efforts, the Senior Celebration class of 2024 is currently sitting at $2033.16 (not including funds we will inherit from the class of 2023).
     
    With all that said, now the real work begins. It is the start of our graduate's senior year. We have a lot of ground to cover to fundraise the $30-$40k it will take to provide a fun filled night and shower them with door prizes and scholarships and set them up for success.
     
    To kick things off, we hope you will all join us at our first meeting of the school year where we will discuss fundraising and different ways for you to get involved. As mentioned previously, this is a parent-run organization, and it will take all of us to do our part for it to be a successful event. Our first meeting will be held July 11th at 6:30 pm in the common area inside Kroger on Bailey Boswell (next to Starbucks).

    Welcome to the Boswell High School Senior Celebration page. Senior Celebration is an event sponsored by parents of students who are graduating. We host a memorable night for all Seniors by celebrating this achievement with food, prizes, and fun.

    We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization; therefore, any cash or in-kind donations made to Senior Celebration are tax deductible.

    All parent participation and support is needed to make this event a successful night for our seniors. There are many events that allow you to volunteer and help us ensure that we raise the funds necessary to provide our graduates with a great night.
