Throughout his tenure at Tolar, Mullins garnered numerous accolades, including District Coaching Staff of the Year twice, recognition in Dave Campbell’s Texas Football 40 under 40, Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Coach of the Week twice, Texas High School Coaching Association Region III 2A Coach of the Year, and Harris Ratings 2A Coach of the Year.
